Abigail Holt is the founder of Anchored Reading and a dedicated reading specialist with over seven years of teaching experience. She holds a Master’s degree in Education, is certified in Dyslexia Awareness, and has received specialized training in the Orton-Gillingham approach. Currently, Abigail is advancing her expertise by completing the LETRS program for certification.
Abigail is passionate about helping students of all levels succeed and develop a love for reading. She strives to create a positive, supportive learning environment where students can gain confidence and make meaningful progress. Her instruction is grounded in structured, research-based literacy practices. She incorporates multisensory strategies and play-based activities to keep each session engaging and effective.
Abigail lives in New Hampshire with her husband, young son, and their yellow lab, Dewey. Outside of tutoring, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing tennis, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jenna brings over six years of teaching experience in grades K–5, with a double major in Elementary Education and Linguistics. She is certified in Dyslexia Awareness and has received training in the UFLI (University of Florida Literacy Institute) program. Jenna’s expertise in early literacy, paired with her passion for helping students overcome reading challenges, allows her to create engaging, effective lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
Her approach centers on building strong foundational reading skills through explicit, research-based instruction. Jenna integrates phonics, fluency, and vocabulary using multisensory strategies, creating a supportive space where students can grow in confidence and develop a love for reading.
Jenna lives in New Hampshire with her husband and their golden retriever, Remi. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and also enjoys reading, cooking, and playing board games.
